The farmhouse Rosset Terroir started to cultivate that precious officinal plant in the year 2012 in its field of Thouraz, a place that is located at 1670 meters of altitude in the municipality of Sarre. That product is used as the principal ingredient for the production of the Génépy A, that is realized by the St. Roch distilleries. Its inflorescences are rich in active ingredients; in fact, according to the ancient alpine traditions, the artemisia is an extremely good appetite stimulator, it favors the digestive process, it has some balsamic properties and it also prevents and helps fight the mountain sickness.
